Mission
Established on January 1, 2015, CentraleSupélec is a public scientific, cultural, and professional institution formed through the merger of École Centrale Paris and Supélec (École Supérieure d'Électricité).
CentraleSupélec operates across three campuses located in Gif-sur-Yvette (Essonne), Metz (Moselle), and Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), and leads an international network with campuses in China, India, and Morocco.
CentraleSupélec is recognized as a leading institution in the education of high-level generalist engineers and in research in Engineering Sciences, Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies, and Management Sciences.

You will join the Academic Writing Center within CentraleSupélec's Research Department. Your primary mission will be to support researchers in developing their academic communication skills in English, both written and oral.
You will contribute to improving the clarity, quality, and impact of researchers’ communications through individual support, the design and delivery of courses and workshops, and the creation of tailored resources that meet the needs of the research community.In this role, you will be responsible for the following:· Academic Communication Support: support researchers in preparing and improving their written and oral academic communications in English, including the writing of scientific articles and other academic documents, the preparation of presentations and talks for conferences and other scientific events, as well as the preparation of job application materials (including CVs) and job interviews.
·Training Design and Delivery: design and deliver courses and workshops, and develop educational resources on academic writing and communication for researchers at different stages of their careers.
· Engagement with the Research Community: promote the services of the Academic Writing Center, identify researchers’ needs, and contribute to the development of support services in response to evolving research practices.
Profile
To succeed in this role, you have strong expertise in academic communication in English and experience supporting researchers. You are comfortable working in higher education and research environments and enjoy collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds.
Required Qualifications and Experience
· Excellent written and spoken English, at C2 level or equivalent.
· Experience in proofreading and editing academic texts.
· Experience in coaching or teaching communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with researchers from a range of disciplinary and cultural backgrounds.

· Understanding of academic publishing and editing.
· Experience working in a university or a research institute.
· Experience in science communication.
